About Mike:

At the age of twenty-four, Mike began his career in the electronics industry working for an electronic assembly equipment manufacturer. During his time there, he proposed an idea for a new product. His employer declined.
Undeterred, Mike developed the product in his spare time out of his garage and ultimately sold the rights to the product back to his employer.

Not long after, Mike identified another opportunity and once again presented the concept to his employer. Once again, it was rejected. This time, instead of licensing the idea, Mike chose a different path. He developed the product independently and founded his own company, Aqueous Technologies.

Up to that point, Mike had little desire to become an entrepreneur. However, his belief in the product and his commitment to bringing it to market made entrepreneurship the only viable option. At the age of thirty-one, Mike officially launched his business and became, reluctantly, an entrepreneur.

Today, Mike is a well-known and respected leader within the electronics manufacturing industry. He serves on the Global Board of Directors of the Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA), where he holds the position of Vice President of Communications. He is also the Conference Chair for the Pan Pacific Strategic Electronics Symposium (PanPac), an annual international conference held in Hawaii.
